The Search for Elsewhere
I didn't start with machine learning. I started with design — building interfaces, thinking about how people interact with technology. But somewhere along the way I got pulled deeper. From UI/UX I moved into core ML, drawn by the idea that you could teach machines to find patterns humans couldn't see.
Then I looked up. Literally. The same tools I was learning could be pointed at the night sky — at exoplanets, at the question of whether other worlds could hold life. Turns out the instinct that got me into ML doesn't stop at Earth.

AI Assisted Descriptive Answer Evaluation System
An automated answer evaluation system scoring handwritten/scanned student responses against model answers via PyMuPDF, PaddleOCR, Sentence-BERT semantic embeddings, SQLite persistence, and ReportLab PDF reporting. Co-authored OCR/Sentence-BERT backend and handled Railway deployment.
Smart Power Consumption Predictor
Regression-based ML model predicting household power consumption with feature engineering preprocessing, scikit-learn evaluation metrics (MAE, RMSE), and Matplotlib/Seaborn trend visualizations. Built as part of a 3-member team.
Job Notifier
Built an automated job-matching tool (Python) that scrapes Adzuna and Arbeitnow APIs, filters listings by role fit, experience level, and location eligibility, and delivers daily email digests via GitHub Actions — built to solve my own job search friction as a fresher.
Collective Empowerment
Founded and established the GDG on Campus chapter at Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology. Achieved Tier 3 in the Google Cloud Campaign and hosted GSoC awareness sessions for students.
Selected as one of the college's student administrators for gctcportal.in — a competitive, single-seat annual appointment. Managed academic notifications, marks updates, and college announcements via the portal and official Instagram handle. Served as Sub Core – Technical for the college fest committee, overseeing technical event coordination.
